This One Million Acts of Good movement began last fall as a partnership between Ellen DeGeneres and Cheerios to help people in need. General Mills, which owns Cheerios, is donating food, which will be delivered to each participating location.
Students who participate are encouraged to share their experiences on all social media platforms, including Ellentube.com/Cheerios, and use the #OneMillionActsofGood hashtag. In addition to volunteering at this event, students are encouraged to perform other acts of good in their daily lives.
DeGeneres will be hearing stories all season long.
