Quinnipiac University postponed their International Women’s Day to March 29th. The university is celebrating by raising awareness and inspiring action.
From 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday in the Piazza students and faculty will discuss, debate and lecture on topics like the #MeToo movement, the gender pay gap, racism and sexism, the Women’s March and the women of the LGBT movement.
This years theme is "Silence Breakers." The goal, according to the organizing committee, is "to elicit a discussion about those who have taken active measures and public stances to disrupt a culture of silence."
